The first full moon of 2025, known as January’s Wolf Moon, will reach its peak on Monday.

Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to catch this stunning celestial event.

According to NASA, January’s full moon will reach peak illumination at 12:27 am SAST on Tuesday.

The moon will appear full for three days, starting Sunday evening to Wednesday morning.

The next full moon will be February’s full moon, known as the Snow Moon, which will reach peak illumination at 15:53 pm SAST on Wednesday, Feb. 12, according to the Old Farmer’s almanac.
