Mamelodi police need help searching for a 33-year-old woman last seen going to visit her boyfriend on May 4.
It is unknown what Nkele Mohlala (33) was wearing on the day of her disappearance.
Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said Mohlala from Alaska in Mamelodi East was last seen by her mother on the day she disappeared.
Khulong said the complainant alleges she was with the victim at their place of residence.
“The victim indicated that she would be going to visit her boyfriend,” said Khulong.
She said the complainant reported that her daughter normally informs her of her whereabouts whenever she is not around.
Khulong said the mother started to get worried after her daughter was gone from home for more than a week and couldn’t get hold of her.
The complainant has also tried to look for her daughter, asking friends and family members without luck.
Police further said there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
