Nadia Venter (19) from Daspoort says she hopes to compete in the South African National Ladies Cup following her recent victory at the Gauteng Supreme Championship at Rock Raceway.
Venter achieved first place in the Pink Rods 2026 at Rock Raceway in Brakpan, a victory she says she hopes will propel her to motorsport glory.
“For me it’s most about I want to race to enjoy it, to make my parents proud and to be better than in my previous race. Winning to me is not just winning; it’s proving to my dad that all his time, effort and money are worth it. It’s a big celebration for me to see how I grow. It makes me so proud of myself,” she said.

Motorsport runs in her family, as she proudly follows in her father’s footsteps, a former racer himself, and now her personal mechanic and mentor.
Her need for speed started at the young age of 14, and today she is one of the brightest rising talents in motor racing.

Behind the wheel of her 1600cc Volkswagen Golf, car number #106, she becomes one with her machine and turns the tarmac into her playground.

This year, she has achieved first place in both the Northern Gauteng and Gauteng Supreme Ladies’ Cups, Second in the Stockrods category of the Gauteng Supreme Championship, and Ladies’ Cup Speedweekend Champion.

She credited her parents and technical team for all their support in making her the driver that she is today.

She thanked her dad, Reinhardt, for everything he does and for always making a plan; and her mom, Heide, for her support and “for always keeping the peace between my dad and me if we get excited”.
“And I also want to say thank you to Michael Myburgh, who is always there to help with the car to-up, and also for every supporter I have.
“My other plan is that I work very, very hard to be the SA One Champion in the Ladies’ Cup class and to do my best in the Stockrods class,” she added.
