The brand new store at Linton’s Corner in Equestria boasts a new generation Pick n Pay and honours the late Raymond Ackerman.

A brand new Pick n Pay at Linton’s Corner drives home that the customer is king or queen, boasting a fresh look and high-end offerings.

The store is a state-of-the-art statement for Pick n Pay, that aims to combine food with a theatrical flourish.

Pick n Pay Linton’s Corner has opening specials until April 28 and invites residents to experience the first class shopping experience it offers.

At the grand opening on April 25, group marketing director Jonathan Ackerman described the store as a new generation of the popular retailer.

“In all my years, I haven’t seen anything like it,” he said.

The grand opening was attended by various members of the Ackerman family, including the retail giant founder’s brother, Bruce Ackerman, who said that his brother would have been proud to see it.

The grand opening included the unveiling of a display in honour of the accomplished retailer Raymond Ackerman, who passed away in 2023.

The tribute includes a quote that reads: “Business should not be separate from community. We have a responsibility to give back and to help uplift the lives of the people we serve.”

A tribute to the late Raymond Ackerman was unveiled by his brother, Bruce Ackerman, and Pick n Pay CEO Sean Summers.

Pick n Pay CEO Sean Summers echoed this sentiment saying that the customer would always be central to the brand.

“Our business is all about people. This store is magnificent, but the most important thing remains our customers.”

The idea was eight years in the making and is the result of years of discussions.

Together with the gourmet butchery, high-end deli, and premium liquor store, the new Flattery Restaurant and Café gives shoppers the perfect place to grab a bite to eat after a shopping spree.
