How do you feel about being selected as Pharmacy of the Week?

We are incredibly honoured and humbled. Mopani Pharmacy Monument Park has been part of this community for more than 30 years  and with the owner Irma and Loutjie leading the dynamic team, more than 10 years. Being recognised in this way reaffirms the passion and care we put into everything we do. For us, it’s more than medicine, it’s care. This recognition feels like a celebration of the relationships we’ve built with our customers, young and old, over the years.

What keeps your pharmacy dedicated to the community?

Our dedication comes from the people we serve. We’ve grown alongside the families, schools, and retirement villages in Monument Park, and we understand the unique needs of every generation. As an independent pharmacy owned by Irma and Loutjie, we have the privilege of offering a personal touch—knowing our customers by name, listening to their concerns, and being a reliable pillar, they can trust. This community has supported us for over a decade, and that trust inspires us to keep delivering compassionate, accessible healthcare every day.

How has your partnership with Adcock Ingram helped?

Our partnership with Adcock Ingram has played a meaningful role in our growth—most recently through their sponsorship of our new signage. The fresh, professional yet welcoming look perfectly reflects who we are: clean, modern, and aligned with current needs, but still warm and community centred. Their OTC range also mirrors our own philosophy by catering for all ages, making it easier for us to serve everyone from schoolchildren to seniors.
