The murder-accused did not apply for bail and will remain in custody.

The case of a 38-year-old accused of killing two cousins has been postponed for further investigation.

Tebogo Mnisi (38), accused of killing Baleseng (22) and Tshiamo Moramaga (21), and the attempted murder of a third person, who was hospitalised after a fatal gunshot wound, appeared in Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court on March 19.

Senior prosecutor Advocate Anne-Marie Bendeman said the case was postponed to May 20 for further investigations and a post-mortem report.

Bendeman said Mnisi is facing five charges: two charges of premeditated murder, one charge of attempted murder, possession of live ammunition, and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
