Bullet ricochet scratches woman in Soshanguve pub robbery
The robbers got away with cellphones and musical equipment.
The four men who robbed a well-known restaurant and pub in Soshanguve on Friday, July 29, are still at large.
Police spokesperson Captain Steve Maluleka said the four raided the restaurant at around 19:30, with customers and staff present.
“They fired a warning shot in the air to disperse the crowd,” he said.
“The bullet ricocheted and scratched a woman but it didn’t cause much harm.”
Maluleka said the suspects stole cellphones and musical equipment.
In a video that has been circulating on social media, the suspects could be seen disconnecting the DJ equipment and then taking it with them as they fled the scene.
Maluleka said no arrest has been made but police are closely following leads.
