Police to put unclaimed recovered stolen goods on auction at Moot station

The items on sale include among others various household goods such as computers, TVs and bicycles.

Unclaimed recovered stolen goods such as computers, TVs and bicycles will be put on auction by the Tshwane Central Corridor tomorrow.

“Interested members of the community are invited to participate,” said police spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said.

The auction will take place at the Moot police station on Thursday, August 4.

The Tshwane Central Corridor includes the Sunnyside, Brooklyn, Garsfontein, Lyttelton, Pretoria Moot, Villieria and Silverton police stations.

The items on sale are from these stations.

“These items include those either stolen property seized by the police or unserviceable government property.”

The items on sale, which include various household goods, will be available for viewing for an hour from 09:00 to 10:00 at the Moot station.

“Bids will be accepted from 10:00 and successful bidders will be announced at 11:00.”
