Mams cops ask for help in finding murder suspect
The man is wanted for murder after he allegedly burned his girlfriend to death in a shack in Skierlik informal settlement.
Mamelodi east police have appealed to members of the public for information to find a man suspected of burning his girlfriend to death in a shack.
Sibanyoni John Sifiso (35) was suspected of the murder of his girlfriend in the Skierlik informal settlement on February 3, 2021, according to police spokesperson Constable Lethabo Mashiloane.
He said the woman was found burnt to death in a shack.
A motive for the murder was still unknown.
“We are continuing with investigations. A warrant for his arrest has been issued so we appeal community to help the police in finding him,” said Mashiloane, adding that the suspect was considered to be dangerous.
The public was advised not to apprehend the suspect should they see him, but to rather contact their nearest police station.
