Family searches for missing Mamelodi daughter
The family said Nompumelelo left the house without saying where she was going.
Friends and family are desperate to find Nompumelelo Nkosi (30) of Mamelodi Gardens, the mother of two who went missing on 17 August 17 around 19:00.
According to her brother, Dominic Mohlaba, Nompumelelo was last seen leaving the house and has never returned.
The brother said she had not said where she was going.
He said her mother reported her missing to Mamelodi east police on Monday.
The family had searched for her everywhere, including Nellmapius (where she has a stand), hospitals and relatives’ homes.
Mohlaba said this was the first time his sister had disappeared.
“Her cellphone is off and her social media pages [remain inactive],” he said. “There was nothing wrong with her when she left.”
Nompumelelo was wearing blue jeans, long black boots, a mustard T-shirt and a blue blazer.
He said the family was extremely worried and pleaded with the public to be on the lookout for her.
The family further pleaded with Nompumelelo to please come back home, especially for the sake of her two lovely daughters aged 11 and 13.
Unfortunately, the family was not able to provide the Rekord with more information.
Mamelodi east police could not comment.
The family asked anyone with information to please contact them on 076 021 2011 or 073 926 1422 or the Mamelodi east police on 012 815 7040.
