MMC happy with Mams clinic’s quality service
“Community members we spoke to agreed and expressed their gratitude for the quality of healthcare they received.”
The Tshwane metro said it was pleased with the quality service at the Stanza Bopape II clinic in Mamelodi.
“I found that the clinic staff’s professionalism is commendable,” said health MMC Rina Marx.
“Community members we spoke to agreed and expressed their gratitude for the quality of healthcare they received.”
Marx was conducting two oversight visits on Thursday to the Stanza Bopape II clinic in ward 40 and the Lusaka clinic, which is currently under construction in ward 10.
The clinic renders comprehensive primary healthcare services, which include chronic, curative, maternal and child healthcare services.
It operates from Mondays to Fridays from 07:30 to 16:00 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00 with an average monthly headcount of 8 000.
She said this high patient volume placed an increased workload on the staff.

Marx added she was also pleased to report that construction at the Lusaka clinic was proceeding well.
“The roof and windows of the facility have been installed and the boundary wall has been erected and the plastering is done.”
The procurement processes for furniture and equipment will begin before the end of the year.
The project was expected to meet the completion timeline of July 2023.
“Once completed, Lusaka clinic will complement the services at Stanza Bopape II clinic. It will offer quality healthcare in Mamelodi East, which is currently one of the fastest-growing communities in Tshwane.”
