Police need help in finding missing Nellmapius man
‘We have searched almost everywhere at hospitals, squatter camps, and family relatives, with no sign of him.’
The Mamelodi East police have asked the public for help in solving a case of a missing Nellmapius man.
Police spokesperson Constable Lethabo Mashiloane appeals to the members of the public to assist with information to locate Tshepang Mokholoane (27) of Nellmapius ext. 21 who had been missing for a couple of weeks.
He was reported missing by his uncle on September 19, when he had already been missing for weeks.
“Nobody knows [exactly] what he was wearing when he went missing. There is no waiting period to report missing person,” said Mashiloane.
Mokholoane’s uncle, Gololo Masilela said they have searched almost everywhere for his nephew.
He said what was known was that he was last seen on a Friday evening and he was wearing shorts.
Masilela said Tshepang lived alone in Nellmapius ext. 21 and the neighbour that last saw him said he was wearing shorts as he was going out for drinks on a Friday.
“We have searched almost everywhere at hospitals, squatter camps and relatives, with no sign of him,” said Masilela.
He said they even went to his workplace and were told that it’s been weeks since he last came to work.
Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the police on 08600 10 111, Mamelodi East police on 012 815 7000 or via the MySAPS app.
