Man critical after Centurion stabbing during failed hijacking attempt
“Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to a B scene just after 10h30 to find a man seated in his vehicle with multiple penetrating wounds,” paramedics said.

A 36-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds during a suspected attempted robbery in Centurion on Friday.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said the man was in a critical condition after he was stabbed on the R511 near Hennopsrivier in Erasmia.
“Paramedics responded to a scene just after 10h30 to find a man seated in his vehicle with multiple penetrating wounds.
“He was treated and stabilised on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care,” Van Reneen said
“Reports from the scene are that a number of armed suspects attempted to hijack the man, stabbing him in the process.”
The South African Police Service will be conducting the necessary investigation, he added.
The police had not yet commented by the time of going to press.
