Night Market, November 24
Start your weekend early with a fabulous night out under the stars at Atterbury Value Mart’s Night Market. The market starts at 17:00 with a focus on a range of scrumptious foods, including Mexican, calamari, Thai, Indian, pizza, pannekoek, boerekos, spitbraai, smoked BBQ, pitas, Mediterranean shawarmas and burgers. The market also boasts craft drinks from beer to gin and everything in-between.
Nickel Christmas Market, November 23 – December 4

Kungwini Welfare Organisation is hosting its annual fundraiser, the Nickel Christmas Market.
The market has a wide variety from decor to food, making it the perfect place to fill your Christmas wishlist. Enjoy a relaxing time while browsing the various rooms and have a bite to eat from various food and drink options available.
The perfect gift from this market will also make a difference in the life of a person with a disability. Entry and parking are free, and the market is cashless preferred. The market is open for all 12 days from 09:00 to 17:00.
Santa Paws, November 27

Proudly hosted by Doxified SA and Linda Ludek, Santa Paws is coming to town. The dog walk and competition event is a must for all pet lovers. The day will have live music, a market with loads of stalls, a doggy play area, pet-friendly restaurant and competition prizes to be won. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed, Happiest Dog, Best Trick, and visitors can see a dog agility demonstration. Remember to always keep your dog on a leash. Summer Fete, November 26

Fun for the whole family at Lyttelton Methodist Church. The event starts at 08:00 until 14:00 and will include jumping castles and other kid’s entertainment, along with a craft market and a variety of food stalls. Christkindlmarkt, Traditional German Christmas Market, November 26

Another Christmas market, but this time with an international feel, this market at the German School in The Willows promises festive lights, live music, traditional German food, Christmas gifts, decorations and more. Entrance is only R20, and free for under 16s and over 75s.
Aitsa Awards, November 29

The fans have voted, and now it’s time to see who the winning Afrikaans artists are at the award ceremony taking place at Choose Life Church from 18:30. With performances by Elandré, Riaan Benade, Demi Lee Moore, Rocco de Villiers, Tarryn Lamb, Droomsindroom and Simoné Roets, and a guest list of the top Pretoria and South African celebs, this Pretoria FM award ceremony is all the talk about town.
Scheppel’s Christmas by Candlelight, November 30 and December 1

Local violin extraordinaire will be hitting the Piazza at Irene Village mall to treat dinner guests to a Melodious Mood.
