Police needs help in identifying burnt body

Cullinan police calls for the community’s assistance with the identification of the burnt body of a woman.

Cullinan police asked for the community’s help with identifying an unknown burnt body.

The body was discovered in a veld at Bynespoort, in the Cullinan policing area on April 18, according to police spokesperson Sergeant Connie Moganedi.

She said the police were summoned to the crime scene where they discovered a burnt body of an unknown female in the bushes.

The burnt body was discovered by a passerby who informed the police.

Moganedi said the burnt body was of a woman with a dreadlocks hairstyle, estimated to be between the ages of 19 to 25.

Members of the public who lost a family member or do not know the whereabouts of their loved ones are kindly requested to contact Cullinan SAPS detective Sergeant S Ngwenya or Sergeant R Ngobeni for identification at 012 734 7200 or 082 319 9673.
