Help find two missing Mamelodi men

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of the two is requested to phone the police or the respective families.

The police have asked the public to help locate two Mamelodi men who recently went missing.

Benjamin Zimu (71) was last seen at his residence by his niece on May 11 while Driss Manganye (37) of Mamelodi West was last seen on May 19.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Daphney Maila said Zimu has a speech impediment but has good hearing.

She said nobody knows what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Benjamin Zimu (71) was last seen at his residence on May 11.

His niece, Tshepiso, reported him missing on May 22, after searching for him for days.

While, Driss Manganye was last seen by his niece Lindiwe when she was giving him his medication around 10:30 before he left for work in East lynne on May 11. He never returned home.

Maila said Tshepiso reported Manganye missing on March 23 after days of searching for him.

Manganye speaks Tsonga and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and grey tekkies.

The Manganyes said they searched everywhere for him in vain.

“There is no waiting period to report a missing person,” Maila concluded.
