Refilwe power will be interrupted for repairs
The metro will repair the electric network in Refilwe, Region 5 on Thursday, December 14 for nine hours.
Residents of Refilwe, Region 5 must brace themselves for a nine-hour-long power supply interruption on Thursday, December 14 due to maintenance.
Tshwane metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the metro will carry out critical repairs and maintenance to the electricity network in the area.
“The essential work is scheduled for nine hours, from 08:00 until 17:00,” Mashigo said.
He said once the scheduled work was completed, it should benefit the communities and power supply will be enhanced.
Mashigo said the metro pleaded for residents’ patience when carrying out this necessary maintenance and apologised for the inconvenience that may arise during this period.
“In the interest of safety, residents must always treat all network points as live,” Mashigo said.
