Police seek community’s help in locating missing Mabopane man

Police in Mabopane are appealing to people for help in locating Rhime Phutlane Letsoale (51), who has been reported missing under alarming circumstances.
According to police spokesperson Captain Johan Van Dyk, Letsoale was last seen on September 22 at a carwash in Mabopane with a friend.
According to police, the two men were kidnapped at gunpoint. While the vehicle used in the incident was later recovered, Letsoale has not been found, raising urgent concern about his safety.
Van Dyk said Mabopane SAPS has since opened a missing person’s case, and the matter is being investigated by Sergeant LS Raseroka.
He stressed the importance of community involvement in such cases.
“Every piece of information counts. Even the smallest detail may be the missing link that helps us trace Letsoale and bring him back safely.
“We urge community members to work closely with the police and not to remain silent if they know something,” Van Dyk said.
Police have assured the public that all information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality.
People with knowledge of Letsoale’s whereabouts or any details about the incident are urged to contact Sergeant Raseroka directly at 012 725 1000.
