Mamelodi father’s desperate search for missing daughter
Karabo Motshegoa (31) went missing on October 20. She has a mental condition.

Mamelodi police are appealing for help in finding Karabo Motshegoa (31), who went missing on October 20.
She was last seen by her father at their home in Mamelodi Gardens. Her father was going to a doctor’s appointment.
According to the information the police received from the family, nobody knows what she was wearing before she disappeared.
Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said the father alleged that on Monday morning, he left home to go to the doctor. Karabo was still at home when he left.
Khulong said when he came back in the afternoon, he discovered that the victim had left the house. When he asked his granddaughter about her whereabouts, the child did not know where she was.

The father searched the neighbourhood but could not find her. Karabo has been missing ever since.
Khulong further alerted that the victim has a mental condition.
The police advised the public that there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is requested to call Mamelodi East SAPS on 012 815 7079 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
Alternatively, members of the public can send information via the MySAPS App.
