Pretoria skies erupt as air show turns heads

The capital city celebrated world-class aviation as Wonderboom Airport delivered a full day of breathtaking stunts, family fun and up-close aircraft action.

Pretoria’s skies came alive this weekend as Wonderboom National Airport kicked off its iconic air show. The landmark event drew massive crowds, from families to aviation enthusiasts, who filled the grounds in their thousands to witness a showcase of world-class aerial talent.

Spectators were treated to a full day of action, with pilots delivering breathtaking stunts and precision flying that brought the aircraft remarkably close to the audience. The show offered rare, up-close access to a wide range of innovative aeroplanes, with some landing just metres away before pilots stepped out to greet excited fans.
