Atteridgeville artist hopes to expand listeners’ points of view

Mundanisi's new project explores aspects of spirituality, resilience, and daily life experiences.

Fresh from recently releasing his latest album Point of View, Kgosi Prince Chauke, more commonly known as Mudanisi, says that he hopes 2026 will forge stronger connections with fans and unlock further opportunities.

The highly anticipated project showcases the artist’s unique perspective and innovative sound, blending genres and emotions to create a captivating listening experience.

Mudanisi says that Point of View explores themes of identity, spirituality, resilience, and daily life experiences, drawing from his personal experiences and artistic influences.

With a fusion of contemporary sounds, a pulse of lounge, and soulful alternative melodies, this album promises to resonate with a diverse audience, making it a must-listen for music lovers everywhere.

“I wanted this album to reflect my journey and offer listeners a chance to see the world through my eyes. Each song tells a story and invites people to connect with their own experiences,” Mudanisi said.

Born in 1991 in Soweto, but raised in Atteridgeville, Mudanisi is a DJ, producer, sound engineer, and events promoter.

The Pan-Africanist and dynamic musical curator was born into a musically gifted family; he says music is truly in his DNA.

His sound blends House, Latin-American rhythms, Afrobeat, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Bossa Nova, Gospel, and Soul, creating grooves that resonate deeply with audiences worldwide.

Mudanisi was also the Winner of Channel O’s “So You Think You Can Do Better” Best Producer Award in 2011.
