Troublesome residents

A resident in Valhalla says he has had enough of the people troubling him in their cars and warns that he will not hesitate to contact the police if need be.

I have been living in Valhalla for 18 years, it’s where I grew up. Recently, there have been a couple of troublesome incidents involving a white Opel Kadett and a White Ford Ranger single cab.

The vehicles slow down when approaching our address and take out a phone (to take pictures I presume) and flash something like a torch at us. There has also been hooting and once they ‘flipped the bird’ at us when passing our house.

I do acknowledge the presence of the CPF in the area, but I suspect it may be a case of someone abusing their power. We aren’t taking this issue lightly – we have the police on speed dial and have had security cameras installed… let this be a warning to the people who are doing this.

It saddens me to see the lengths people will go to in order to make other people’s lives miserable. I urge anyone in the area who has experienced the same thing to get in touch with the Wierdabrug police station and report it.
