Good day

My previous letter (published in October 2015) detailing the unfortunate incident in which my son was knocked off his bicycle on the corner of Waterbok- and Grysbok streets in Theresa Park, by some inconsiderate driver, refers:

After considerable liaison with the Tshwane metropolitan, it has eventually agreed to plant poles just above and below Little Sweethearts crèche in Grysbok Street. The attached photo is the happy ending after the crèche even painted these poles in bright colours to enhance their décor and make motorists even more aware that pavements are strictly reserved for cyclists and/or pedestrians and not for motor vehicles to drive on. My son has since recovered from the injuries he sustained.

Thanks to all concerned. This not only increases the safety of residents, but also adds to beautifying Theresa Park. Well done.
