The staff strike at Unisa is all and well, but the situation regarding registration must also be addressed. We are told to register online, but get error notices when we do. What happens if this strike isn’t resolved before the registration closing date? Unisa not only fails to meet the demands of staff, but students as well.
We are left with “register online”. What are students who cannot register because of this error to do?
But, hey, let’s just keep on trying like fools.
I absolutely understand they have a right to strike, but the staff strike is crippling students’ futures. That is not right. What about our right to education?
