REVIEW: Doomsday Conspiracy

By chance, they stumble onto a terrorist plot which they help to successfully foil.

The book is about two young South African men who excel academically and physically and thrive on danger, adventure and intrigue. By chance, they stumble onto a terrorist plot which they help to successfully foil.

Readers will like this book if they are interested in wars in South West Africa and Rhodesia. And if they want to know about how soldiers train for wars and how it is like being exposed to the hunt against maniacal forces bent on the destruction of the majority of mankind in Africa.

The book is well written and includes abbreviations for people to follow easily. It is suitable for readers aged 18 and above as it contains strong language, violence and sex.

The author, Bernard Schutte, has been a right-leg amputee since 1997 which was one of the reasons he started writing a novel that led him to spend hours researching the topics in the book. It also reveals a lot about the writer who spent most of his life as an insurance and retail estate developer. He is still an active commodity dealer. He is also qualified to fly fixed-wing aircraft micro-light, and helicopters.
