OPINION: From faith to faith
This could never be accomplished by keeping certain laws or by following certain rituals, it could only come by faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
Rom 1:16-17 – “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written. The just shall live by faith”.
The righteousness of God is God’s way of justifying sinners, which is putting them right with Himself without compromising His absolute pure character.
People were not saved by works or obedience to the law in the Old Testament any more than in the New Testament.
In the Old Testament people put faith in a Messiah who was yet to come.
In the New Testament we put our faith in Jesus Christ who is our Messiah, who came and will come again.
Imagine your life touching another life with faith.
Imagine you turning a city’s sorrow into joy!
By faith this is possible, so arise and shine for your light has come.
Stand up in faith and make your voice heard!
Anticipate rivers of living water gushing out of your innermost being and bringing life to all around you; touching people’s lives for eternity.
Paul never saw a weak gospel; he never considered a gospel of insignificant impact which would only appeal to a few individuals here and there!
He didn’t see its appeal reduced to a few desperate and lonely people who finally had no one else to turn to so they reluctantly and politely turned to Jesus, almost as if they were doing Him a favour!
Instead Paul’s mission was to make all men see and to present all men in the full stature of Christ.

It comes from faith to faith.
It starts in faith.
It grows in faith.
It becomes strong and stronger in faith and it continues in faith.
Now faith can only come “by hearing and hearing by the word of God”.
So as you give voice to God’s word, your faith will grow and you’ll be living from faith to faith.
