Jehovah Rapha – The Lord who heals physical and emotional needs.
God does the forgiveness through Jesus who became sin for us, then through Jesus, we can forgive

In Jeremiah 30:17, God says: “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.” This scripture says that God wants us healthy and joyful. This is confirmed in Psalm 103:2-3: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; who forgives all your iniquities (sins), who heals all your diseases.”
He is the God who wants to set you free from the burden of your sins and offences. God does the forgiveness through Jesus who became sin for us, then through Jesus, we can forgive.
In Luke 5, they bring a paralytic man to Jesus, but because they could find no room to come inside, they opened the rooftop and let him down before Jesus.

Luke 5:20 says: “When He (Jesus) saw their faith, He said to him (the paralytic man) Man your sins are forgiven you.” The Scribes and Pharisees responded in verse 22 by saying: “Who can forgive sins but God alone and that’s true.”
Yet in John 1:29 it says: “When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming towards him he said: ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world’.”
Jesus is the only one who can take away the wrongdoing, the sin and the guilt of the world. Jesus as the Son of God can forgive sin because He became sin for us on the Cross of Calvary (2 Corinthians 5:21).
In Luke 5:23 Jesus responds to the Scribes by saying: “Which is easier to say, your sins are forgiven you or to say, rise up and walk?”

In all my years of ministry, I’ve found that many people would get healed after they forgave a person who wronged them. At times they had to forgive themselves. As I would pray over people I would say: “Now that you have forgiven you are forgiven.” Then I would say: “Your sins are forgiven; now be healed in Jesus name,” and they would be healed.
“Jehovah Rapha” The Lord who heals never changes. If you need to forgive, forgive! Then declare: “My sins are forgiven and by His stripes, I am healed,” or get someone to pray for you (Mat 18:19).
“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by
my Father in heaven.”
