KFC Mini-Cricket kids narrowly lose to Proteas
The Fleur Primary School learners showed some great skill and were very unlucky to not level the series.
The KFC Mini-Cricket kids from Fleur primary school in Centurion faced the Proteas at SuperSport Park on Friday afternoon.
This exciting curtain-raiser for the Proteas vs Sri Lanka game on Friday evening was an entertaining affair with the kids narrowly losing by four runs.
The Proteas took a 2-0 lead in the KFC Mini-Cricket Kids vs Proteas tour after defeating Kimberley Islamic school last week.

Proteas batting coach Neil Mckenzie on Wednesday helped the Fleur learners prepare for the encounter.
“It is important to teach the young ones to get the basics right from a young age,” he said.
“Right now we are focusing on their technical skills, but it is important for them to have fun out here on the field.”
