This is your chance to win a trip to the 2018 “weekend with your destiny” retreat at the Berg en Rivier Lodge, where the key themes will be “diving into your fears, discovering your limitations and becoming the conscious creator of your life”.
The retreat will be facilitated by psychic, medium and mindfulness coach Deon Ryx. Our guest facilitator is Hendrien Nortje, a therapist specialising in transactional analysis.
This weekend mindfulness retreat will teach participants proven awareness and concentration practices. Participants will be introduced to mindfulness practices like meditation, journaling, creating art projects, teaching body movement, yoga and experiencing drumming circles at the bonfire, under the stars. Through the use of mindfulness practices, participants will learn how to settle a busy mind, how to investigate their emotions and thoughts and through this “new way of thinking and doing” they will be able to take back control of their minds. After all, the mind is the power station of our life. This camp is designed to awaken the heart and inspire the soul.
The daily schedule includes free time to connect with like-minded people as well as three mindfulness/psychology workshops with Deon Ryx and Hendrien Nortje that will give you the tools, motivation and insight to reinvent your life and to start living the life you have always been dreaming about.
Mindfulness Workshop 1: “You are not your fears”
Dive into your Fears & discover your Limitations!
The fear-driven perspective is just one side of the story, it is not the truth. Our fears can limit us in our lives and leave us feeling “stuck”, without purpose or drive. In this workshop, you will become more aware of how fear is running the show called “your life”. You will also discover where your limiting beliefs are playing out and what behavioural patterns they create with yourself, others and circumstances in your life.
