The hip-hop scene must be on the lookout for up and coming rap artist who promises to take the country by storm.
Mooikloof rapper “PMP” is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with.
Pontsho Mojafi Potso (29) – PMP – was born in Zeerust, North West in 1989 and has already performed with artists such as Ricky Rick & DJ Arch Junior.
“I performed for the first time at Gushima Midrand in October 2015 numerous times with some of these big names,” he said.
The rising star raps mainly in Setswana and English and uses his music as a form of therapy.

Instead of doing homework in his room, his mother would find him scribbling music lyrics.
“I still went to school and made sure that I passed and graduated from tertiary level so that I can generate enough money to be able to follow my dreams.”
PMP is not just a rapper but a man of many talents.
He is currently an executive board member at various companies, a father, IT specialist by profession and is still furthering his studies.
In 2010, he met the rapper and friend Swiss Tha Duke, who served as a mentor and helped record most of his songs.
It wasn’t long before music labels Sony and EMI spotted him and offered him a recording deal.
“I also have my own clothing line and have formed an entertainment company.”
He will be dropping his new single at Christmas titled Tholakel featuring Swiss Tha Duke.
