North Amapiano queen to release new album

Nwadada says that unlike other Barcadi artists, her lyrics are fresh, inspiring and have a lasting message but will get people dancing.
Born, Sophia Moloba, Nwadada, has been styled as the new queen of Amapiano and is set to release her much-anticipated album Diverse on Friday February 1 under Fathaland Records.
Moloba who blessed her fans with singles in 2018, has worked with the likes of Dada Man and Ennyman.

The artist, who hails from Hammaskraal, says that she fell in love with the street music because it is relaxed and people from the township can easily relate to it.
Nwadada says that her lyrics are in Tshwana, Tsonga and English, and about things that affect ordinary South Africans to give hope to the hopeless.
“I love representing Pretoria, in all forms, you can even hear it in my music that I am from Pretoria. I think people here in Pretoria, we have our own unique lingo and people love hearing it,” she says.
Nwadada, says that she is humbled by the love and support that she has been getting in the industry and also feels that the industry has enough room for other Amapiano female artists.
“We need more female vocalists in the industry who are talented, able to think outside of the box and can perform without using vulgar (sic),” says Moloba.
“Women can actually use Amapiano to inspire others because we don’t want to inspire people through our music to be out of line (sic).”
