Tree of 2013 finds a new home here
Mitchell House planted the tree of the year 2013, Grewia Occidentalis or Crossberry

In celebration of Arbor Day, which is held on September 1, Mitchell House planted the tree of the year 2013, Grewia Occidentalis or Crossberry at the school last Wednesday.
The Crossberry is a fast growing tree that can grow up to 3m high, with star-shaped pink and purple flowers and edible fruits. It does not need a lot of water to grow.
“We know of a lot of reasons why trees are important, which is why we will continue planting more tress throughout the school,” said Achsa Phoshoko, the marketing manager of Mitchell House.
