Seshego schools meet in soccer, netball tournament

THE dusty weather conditions on Friday did not stop high schools in the Seshego circuit from competing in the Red Cap Foundation Limpopo Mr Price netball and soccer tournament, which was held at Mmasesha Primary School.

In the soccer semi-finals, Kgabo Secondary School faced Peter Nchabeleng Secondary School and made it to the finals, while Mohlapetsi Secondary School beat Molaudzi Secondary School.

In the netball semi-finals, Khaiso High School competed against Mohlapetsi Secondary School and won, while Peter Nchabeleng Secondary School competed against Makgofe Secondary School and won.

During the soccer final, Mohlapetsi received a thrashing from Kgabo, losing 4-1, while Makgofe won 20-8 against Khaiso in the netball final.

Soccer results:

• Gold medal – Kgabo Secondary School (four goals).

• Silver medal -Mohlapetsi Secondary School (one goal).

• Bronze medal – Peter Nchabeleng Secondary School.

Netball results:

• Gold medal – Makgofe Secondary School (20 points).

• Silver medal – Khaiso High School (eight points).

• Bronze medal – Peter Nchabeleng Secondary School.
