The Rotary club of Polokwane donated hand-made bags to Sent 2 Serve ministries
The Rotary club of Polokwane donated hand-made bags to Sent 2 Serve ministries on Monday.
This handover took place at Ons Tuiste old age home ahead of the Rotary Club’s weekly meeting.
“We are very thankful for this donation. We are going to use the bags and give it to needy families,” said Melvile Botha from Sent 2 Serve ministries.
Most of the bags were made by the learners of the Siloe School for the Blind and all of them were packed by honorary Rotarian, Dawn Shamley.
There were toiletries like toothpaste, a toothbrush, soap and deodorant in each bag.
“Dischem donated a lot of these products,” said Ursula Moody from the Rotary Club of Polokwane.
“We know that Sent 2 Serve ministries will make good use of it.”
There were 80 bags handed over.
