THE Polokwane Municipality has extended the due date for the payment of municipal accounts in January.
Municipal spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene said the due date for the payment of municipal accounts, which is usually the 15th of each month, has been extended to Friday, January 24.
“This is meant to cater for accounts that could not be processed on January 15 due to a power failure at the civic centre,” she said. “This arrangement is for January only.”
The community is also reminded of the Easy Pay points where municipal accounts can be settled. These include Checkers, Pick n Pay, Shoprite and Woolworths.
Alternatively payments can be made by internet to Standard Bank, branch code 652 548, account number 030 172 349. The correct reference number must be used.
