THE murder case against former Polokwane resident, Maruschca Robinson and her friend, Jean-Pierre Malan was postponed again in the Roodepoort magistrate’s court last week.

The case was postponed to March 26 for further investigations and bail application.

The couple has been charged with the murder of Dustan Blom, a single father whose decomposing body was found in the boot of his car in a parking area of Montecasino during September last year.

Money was withdrawn from his bank account on several occasions around the time of his murder, and thereafter. Robinson was arrested on September 24 and Malan on September 26.

According to the state prosecutor, Yusuf Baba, the case was complicated and would take time to be solved. During November, four men, Louis and Heinrich Coetzee, Ian Manyika and Alex de Kooker allegedly linked to the case were also arrested, and two cases of fraud opened against each for allegedly withdrawing more than R100 000 from Blom’s accounts.
