POLOKWANE – The DA members in Limpopo march this morning in protest to the Polokwane office of the Department of Education against the substandard implementation of the National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP).
Since October 2014, two learners have been killed and more than 1,600 have taken ill after consuming contaminated food stuff provided through the NSNP, some containing shards of glass.
The DA will deliver a memorandum of demands to the Department that measures be put in place to guarantee that there will be no further loss of life or injury due to the NSNP and that the department put our children’s’ best interests first.
