POLOKWANE – THATO Ramonyai (25) from Mankweng has more than a couple of impressive accomplishments to her name, and she still wants to achieve more.

Thato is a semi-finalist in the Miss Earth South Africa 2015 pageant.

She is also a final year student in quantity surveying at the Tswhane University of Technology.

As part of her duties as Miss Earth South Africa semi-finalist, Thato has started a green journey, which will see her embark on various projects in the community.

These projects will include food gardens, waste management, recycling and delivering blankets to the less fortunate.

She participated in the annual Mayoral Race at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, where she took part in the 5km fun run.

During the race, Thato met with the Polokwane mayor, Thembi Nkadimeng whom she spoke to about her Miss Earth South Africa projects.

She says will need financial support of a minimum of R5 000 to complete these projects.
