MAHWELERENG – NOMALEMA Primary School in Mahwelereng is sad to say goodbye to its principal of more than 10 years.
Moagobo Alice Moeketsi’s teaching journey started in February 1978 at Mmantutule High School in Mapela. In 1983 she started teaching at Gojela High School in Mahwelereng and in 2003 she became the deputy principal at Segooa-Kgala Primary School. In June 2004 she became principal at Nomalema Primary School and her journey ended on April 30 when, after serving the department of education for 37 years, she retired.
“I am going to miss managing the school as well as all the teachers and children. My plan for the future is to enroll with Unisa and help teachers with their practicals,” Moeketsi said.
