POLOKWANE – Local business man, Rameez Patel, who stands accused of murdering his wife, Fatima, was this morning in Polokwane Magistrates court granted bail of R250 000.
His parents Firoz and Mehjabeen Patel have released a media statement.
We are happy that Rameez will be with the family today while still sadly missing and grieved with Fatima’s absence.
One very notable factor in the whole saga was the prevalence of democracy in our rainbow nation that gave everyone opportunities to express their support for Rameez and Fatima. We appreciate and thank all those on either side, as they were both on our side.
After all both remain our children, close to our heart. We firmly believe Rameez is innocent …
