Mokgadi Senyatsi is employee of the month

When Mokgadi Senyatsi assumed duty as sales consultant at Mercurius Motors Polokwane in February she had no idea she would be named Employee of the Month so early in her career.
Senyatsi was so named recently for her excellence in sales in June.
“When I started here I managed to sell one vehicle in the pre-owned section. After that I moved to the Business Development Centre in April where I never made one successful sale.
“In May I took a position as sales consultant at Mercedes-Benz new vehicle sales where I managed to sell one vehicle since then,” she said, adding that her probation was soon to expire.
She asked for an extra month to prove to management and herself that she is capable of making a success in the motor industry.
“I worked extra hard and prayed for wisdom to bring out the best in me. I even put in extra hours by working every weekend,” Senyatsi said.
She said the only thing she did differently to make a change was to work harder, go back to the basics, understand customers’ needs, follow up on leads, listen carefully and smile at all times.
