POLOKWANE – The sounds of children’s laughter filled the grounds of China Mall on Saturday, July 18 as the less fortunate children from the Ivydale Shelter were treated to a day of fun with meals, toys and a jumping castle.

The China Mall management identified the Ivydale Shelter as a place in need that they wanted to assist for their Mandela Day contribution. They gave back to the community and treated the children with the chance to play and enjoy things most children take for granted.

The children had their faces painted and they received a goodie bag filled with toys.

The bags were made up out of donations from the different shops in the mall.
