NATIONAL – The Krugersdorp police officer who was arrested last month for shoplifting has been caught shoplifting again.
According to the Krugersdorp News, the officer tried to steal medication from the pharmaceutical department of the Shoprite store in Randfontein yesterday and was arrested shortly after by the local police.
She was released on bail and appeared in the Randfontein magistrate’s court today on charges of shoplifting.
“The management will not tolerate these conducts as it hinders the reputation of the SAPS,” read a statement by the Gauteng SAPS Spokesperson, Capt Doniah Mothutsane.
The officer is due to reappear in court on 25 September for the first shoplifting incident.
