POLOKWANE – Partland Auto Parts in Fosfaat Street, Ladanna was the target of robbers three times in less than two months.
The parts dealership suffered damage of more than R100 000 in the robberies executed in a short space of time.
In the latest incident suspects broke into the building and stole goods to the value of R20 000 on Friday night.
No arrests have yet been made.
July 2015
This was the third time the dealership was targeted as two other break-ins at the business occurred within 24 hours of each other in July.
CCTV footage of the robberies in July was shown to Review.
It shows a suspect entering the building through the roof, right above the security system, on Sunday, 25 July.
The suspect first destroyed the security system and is seen roaming the premises then.
The CCTV footage shows how he searched different parts of the office and also crawled on the floor.
The suspect then left the premises through one of the windows in the reception area. This happened at 01:00 the morning.
On Monday, 26 July at the same time (01:00 the morning), the footage shows two suspects entering the premises through the window, where the suspect of the previous night escaped through.
The second time the suspects also have equipment with them, which they use to open the safe.
Later in the footage the two suspects can be seen opening the front door for a third suspect and after a while they left the premises. In the footage all three suspects were wearing cloves.
Over these two nights several items were stolen and an undisclosed amount of money. The estimated damaged suffered is more than R80 000.
No arrests have yet been made for these two robberies.
