MOKOPANE – The re-application for bail by taxi owner and murder accused, Patrick Sekhu, has been postponed.
Sekhu, Samuel Matjila and Desmond Machaba, were earlier this year arrested for the murder of Charles Mgidi. He was shot and killed on April 4 in front of a filling station in Nelson Mandela Drive.
The three suspects were denied of bail by Magistrate Swanepoel on 17 April due to the fact that exceptional circumstances were not proven.
They appealed this decision in the high court and their appeal was denied.
Magistrate Annalies Swanepoel on Wednesday postponed the case based on new facts to 30 September.
