POLOKWANE – Koketso Nkwana (18), a Nouzhead Movement Agency model from Emdo Park in Polokwane needs your help to travel to New York in July 2016 to compete in the Art International Showcase.
The Gr 11 Curro Northern Academy learner is the only representative chosen from Limpopo.
She was selected to travel to New Tork to compete after she entered the Summer Heat and Just You Art International Showcase earlier this year.
“I entered and competed with other models from my province. I later received a call informing me that I was selected as the best model and I was also the winner of the competition,” Nkwana says.
She was scouted by Kim Myers from New York in October at the Silver Star Casino in Johannesburg, Gauteng, where she was modelling for Nouzhead.
Nkwana started her modelling career in 2005 when she was only seven years old after she was inspired by her role model, Bonang Matheba.
“To be selected to represent my province in New York is a great honour. I have always wanted to travel overseas and my hard work and dedication resulted in that dream become a reality.”
The young model has big plans for her career and her province, but she needs a sponsor to help make her dreams a reality.
