Originally from Cape Town, Cole Alexander, Polokwane City FC midfielder has been with the team since the 2014-2015 season
POLOKWANE – After making this big transition from Ajax to Polokwane City FC, Cole is now a Limpopo resident and says he is embracing every minute.
He took time to show off his car, which he has dubbed Lulu.
What model is your car?
It is a 2008 metallic black Jeep Patriot.
When did you buy it?
I bought it in 2011, so I have had it for close to five years now.
What made you decide to buy this particular car?
I have always wanted to buy a big car, I love SUVs, so this was a car that I thought would fit my personality and lifestyle.
What do you love most about it?
I love the fact that it looks gangster, it is big and I love the shape of it.
Where’s the furthest you have travelled with it?
The furthest I have driven it is to Johannesburg and back but my parents have driven from Cape Town with it.
Since you bought it, have you ever modified it or added anything extra to it?
I have never modified it. Initially when I bought it, I had big plans on how to modify it, like putting on mags, but I haven’t done anything to it since then. I love it just as it is.
What do you think is the best feature about your car?
I love my sound system, I put in some 6 by 9 inch speakers in the car which I think are very cool.
Would you consider buying a new one?
I think I might because I would like to have something more sporty and sexy, but this car is reliable and has not given me any problems thus far. I might consider buying another car in the near future, but I will still keep this one as a second car.
What do you do in your spare time?
When I am not travelling or sightseeing, I love reading and focusing on my personal growth. As my family is in Cape Town, I have a lot of time on my own to reflect and focus more on my soccer career.
Are you excited about your future at Polokwane City?
Of course, I mean we are doing very well. We recently won 4-1 against Supersport United, so I am very excited about working with the team and I look forward to winning more games.
