LIMPOPO – Mohlala is wanted in connection with the murder of a 41-year-old woman who was found in a pool of blood inside her shack in Masakaneng settlement outside Groblersdal on 13 May.
The body of the woman, Johanna Maphanga, was found by one of her relatives who had come to visit her that day.
WO Stanely Magaela, Groblersdal Police Spokesperson, said police were investigating a case of murder.
No arrests have been made yet.
“It is suspected the woman was hit on the head with a blunt object. Considering the state of the body’s decomposition at the time, we suspect she could have been deceased for more than two days before her body was discovered.
“The woman was last seen alive two days before her body was found,” explained Magaela.
“We appeal to anyone who might have information on the whereabouts of the suspect to contact the investigating officer, Const Mathipa, at 076 748 7453,” appealed Magaela.
