Prison time for men who assaulted petrol attendant

The two men who recently assaulted a petrol attendant were sentenced in the Tzaneen Magistrate's Court today

POLOKWANE – Hermanus van Dyk (36) and Danie le Roux (27) were apprehended by security officials from Northern Security shortly after assaulting the employee from a Tzaneen filling station on 18 June.

Van Dyk was sentenced to two years imprisonment without a fine for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and for crimen injuria, while Le Roux was sentenced to 18 months without a fine for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
