Initiates celebrate end of bush school

LIMPOPO – Limpopo received a total of 376 applications to run initiation schools, but only 325 were approved.

On Saturday, an initiation school in Mphambo Village, Malamulele closed without any casualties reported.

The school’s surgeon, Itani Nemavhulani, said they had 256 initiates.

“We didn’t experience any problems. The Nemavhulani clan is known for traditionally circumcising boys, a ritual which was started by my ancestors,” said Nemavhulani.
